Follow on Google News | New Violin Presented to Nashville Notes Music Program During Hollywood Meets Nashville Grammy PartyHollywood Meets Nashville (HMN) creates distinctive events and other opportunities for Nashville artists, musicians and filmmakers to make a positive impact on the community while having a great time at Hollywood caliber occasions. Each HMN activity raises money for deserving charities. The Grammy Viewing Party was a fundraiser for two organizations, Save the Music America and the Global Music Project. Save The Music America is a social and educational organization that educates the public about the impact of illegal downloading, creating public support for preserving the rights of people within the creative industries and the history of American Music. The Global Music Project uses music to help the socially conscious make a difference. Their current mission is to provide musical instruments to school children, locally and abroad. They partnered with Mozart Violins in Irvine, California, to furnish the violin that was presented to Nashville Notes. “We’re so excited to be a part of something this special,” says Donna Caldwell, event producer at Hollywood Meets Nashville. “Helping kids is what HMN is all about.” Previous events have supported the Second Harvest Food Bank, St. Jude Children’s Hospital and the Haitian Relief Fund. “We try to assist a different organization with each event, and will support another worthy group as we plan for our next event in June.” The Alliant Music Group sponsored the event.
