Miss Florida Junior Teen Visits Hurricane Grill & Wings Boynton Beach

BOYNTON BEACH, Fla. - Jan. 29, 2014 - PRLog -- WHAT: Miss Florida Junior Teen Rebecca Markert, who recently returned from national competition in Hollywood, California, is making a stop at Hurricane Grill & Wings Boynton Beach (http://hurricanewings.com/boyntonbeach/) in early February to meet with hundreds of potential future pageant queens. As part of her appearance, Miss Florida Junior Teen will meet and greet with local South Florida kids who come to the restaurant on the evening of Tuesday, February 4. There is no charge for the event and the first 200 kids will have the opportunity to walk down the red carpet, try on a “Miss Hurricane” sash, take a photograph with Miss Florida Junior Teen, receive a personalized autograph, and get their very own tiara to take home.

Hurricane Grill & Wings Boynton Beach’s charity of choice Little Smiles of Florida, a local non-profit organization that provides toys, games, VIP outings, celebrity meet and greets, and more for children in local hospitals, hospices and shelters, will also be present.

About Miss Florida Junior Teen Rebecca Markert
Rebecca Markert is 2013 Miss Florida Junior Teen. Rebecca is 16 years old and lives with her family in Delray Beach, Florida. She is a junior at Pope John Paul II High School in Boca Raton, Florida, where she is an honors student; National Honors Society member; member of the school's varsity cheerleading squad; an actor in the fall and spring theater productions; and a member of the school’s Thespians and Cappies “Critics and Awards Program” clubs. Rebecca is a New England Academy of Dance and Boca Ballet Theatre trained dancer with more than 12 years of experience. She also spent two years at the prestigious Stagedoor Manor summer camp in the Catskills.

New to pageants, Rebecca is thrilled to have been part of the entire Miss Florida Junior Teen experience and ecstatic that she won!
