Daytona Beach, FL –NBalance Body & Skin Studio in Daytona Beach, FL, is pleased to announce that they have added Dr. Juan Castaneda to their team as the studios new medical director.

“We recently added approximately $120,000 of new equipment, including a laser hair removal system that Dr. Castaneda manages,” said spa owner Joy Pratt-Connell. “Dr. Castaneda is a great addition to our studio and we are blessed to have him on board,” she added. Joy said that this significant investment in their business shows her confidence in the local economy and their desire to service the community with state-of-the-art medical and cosmetic services.

Dr. Castaneda administers, directs, and oversees all laser treatments, including administering injections for treatment of wrinkles and collagen with BOTOX® and JUVÉDERM®. He also administers skin screening and biopsy for moles and pigmented lesions as well as sclerotherapy treatments for veins.

The two new machines are a laser hair removal machine that works on a dual wavelength laser platform. The second piece of equipment the spa has added is an Optimal Cellulite Reduction and Circumferential Reduction Device. FDA approved, it’s called the VelaShape II, and users have lost up to 2” off their waist and belly area, and 3” off the saddle bag and love handle area. It’s been featured on The Dr’s, Rachel Ray, Dr. Oz, Oprah and Good Morning America.
