“Doctor With A Heart” Celebrates 10 Years In Modesto

MODESTO, Calif. - Jan. 28, 2014 - PRLog -- Modesto, CA. Ten years ago, Dr. Bob Armstrong opened Armstrong Family Chiropractic & Bodyworks in Modesto after graduating from Life-West chiropractic with a simple message, “natural health and wellness through chiropractic care needs to be more mainstream and affordable for everyone in the community as well as effective in the results we provide.” That mission statement has been demonstrated every day in the clinic located at 1031 McHenry Ave. in Modesto since then.

         “The practice opened right before Valentine’s Day in February, said Dr. Bob, and in our first newspaper advertisement we gave away a pound of See’s Chocolate candy for folks that came in and saw us.” “We didn’t know anything actually about advertising, but we launched our practice with a dozen of those new patients that came from little ad,” Dr. Bob recalls. “Because of the candy in heart shape boxes that we gave away, we were named the “doctor with a heart” by some of our patients. And it stuck.”

         Armstrong says, “We’ve seen some real ups and downs in the local economy the last few years, but I’m very optimistic about the business community and the good people that live and work here. We’ve had literally thousands of patients come through our doors. It’s common for us to be at local events too and giving back to our community.” “Last year, Armstrong said, “we participated in over 150 events in the Central Valley. It’s been really gratifying to be a part of our community’s health solution as we’ve joint ventured with many schools and businesses.”

         In celebration of Armstrong Family Chiropractic and Bodywork’s Tenth Anniversary, they will be offering to anyone who comes into their office through the month of February, a free consultation, physical exam, spa capsule aqua massage and vibration therapy all complimentary.
