Public is Invited to FREE Panel Discussion Hosted by the
Palm Beach Chapters of the League of Women Voters, ACLU,
National Council of Jewish Women & the Voting Rights Coalition
February 9 in Lantana

One Out of Every 10 Florida Citizens of Voting Age is FORBIDDEN to Vote!

The League of Women Voters of Palm Beach County, ACLU Palm Beach County, the National Council of Jewish Women Palm Beach County Sections and the Voting Rights Coalition are hosting a FREE panel discussion: RESTORE THE VOTE: Disfranchisement Undermines Democracy.

The panel discussion will focus on Florida’s policy of denying former felons the right to vote, thus disfranchising a significant percentage of the state’s population, suppressing overall voter participation and undermining the entire democratic process.

Sunday, February 9 from 2 to 4 p.m.

Lantana Road Branch Library
4020 Lantana Road (at Lawrence Road)

+ Jackie Winchester, former Palm Beach County Superintendent of Elections

+ Desmond Meade, President of the Florida Rights Coalition
