Fulton County Afterschool Site Temporarily Closed Due To Flooding

COLLEGE PARK, Ga. - Jan. 28, 2014 - PRLog -- The organization had to temporarily shut down its Fulton County location in College Park after a pipe burst during unexpectedly cold temperatures, interrupted the daily afterschool program.

After a full assessment of the damage, it was determined that the best and only reasonable course of action was to close this facility until further notice.  "We have to regroup and focus our efforts towards putting the program back together." says Elna Poulard,  FSC's Founder and President. "We will notify the community as soon as possible as to when the facility is in the final stages of construction".

"We would like to thank you all for your support and understanding", she added.

However, it is not all doom and gloom! Family Support Circle, Inc will continue to host many exciting events throughout the year in hopes of raising funds and awareness about their programs.

"This is a challenging time, but with your help, we will come back as a stronger, better Afterschool Program in several weeks when we reopen", says Poulard. "We want to thank our members, staff and the community at large for being a part of the Afterschool Enrichment Program as we have grown and evolved with College Park and its surrounding communities. We appreciate the on-going support of our members and community during this challenging time."
