New York Fashion Week Celebrity Benefit Show Recognizes people affected by Diabetes

NEW YORK - Jan. 28, 2014 - PRLog -- On Sunday February 9th, 2014, please join “Full Blossom Magazine” to recognize people affected by Diabetes with a Runway Show that will keep up with the traditions of high end events for Fashion Week in NYC. The ZANGER HALL (The Synagogue) 347 34TH ST, Manhattan NY a prime central location in the heart of New York City will play host to this wonderful event. Divabetic -a 501-C-3 nonprofit organization. Divabetic® which was inspired by the late R & B legend, Luther Vandross, and created and founded by his long-time assistant, Max Szadek, will be one of the beneficiaries of this event. The event will be Sponsored in part by Full Blossom Magazine, Today`s Blackwoman Magazine, MNS Media Group, Curvy Chick Fitness, NYC Plus Night Out, Ms. Theresa of Ms. Full Figured U.S.A and Miss Jessie's Hair Care Line.

History will be made on Feb 9, 2014 as Full Blossom Magazine is following the footsteps of Eden Miller, creator of Cabiria, who was noted as the 1st Plus Size designer to grace the stage of the prestigious New York Fashion Week. Full Blossom Magazine will produce the 1st exclusively Plus Size fashion show during New York Fashion Week. The relevance of a Plus Size Fashion event during New York Fashion Week will be vastly increased by expanding the segment of women all over the world who will feel inclusion having an event with fashions representing the average body type. This is a multi-platform, multi-faceted opportunity in which Full Blossom Magazine will showcase new trends in plus size fashion while also promoting awareness and education about diabetes. Our goal will be to encourage people worldwide to face this chronic disease and learn ways to beat it by living healthier with fashion as our medium!

We are pleased to announce that Hip Hop Legend Roxanne Shante has signed on to be apart of this amazing event.  Some people may know that Roxanne is also dealing with Diabetes and has been very vocal about changing her lifestyle.  She states "I went to the Doctors not for that, but was actually wondering why my legs were going to sleep so fast, why I was thirsty all the time, but I found out my number was 112. In 2013 Roxanne Shante created team #Type2sweet and joined the American Diabetes Association to be the face of the 5 borough campaign. Promoting STEP OUT Walk to stop Diabetes, which was sponsored in part by Former NYC Mayor Mr. Bloomberg.


Full Blossom Magazine (FBM) is a worldwide beauty, lifestyle and fashion publication whose aim is to “Change the way the plus size industry is viewed”. Women worldwide have raved about the confidence building, spirit lifting, editorials and fashion, beauty, and lifestyle tips that they have learned from reading FBM. Celebrities, new and well known models, renowned bloggers, photographers, clothing designers and many more have all have graces the pages of FBM. Full Blossom Magazine has also hosted a slew of upscale events at many of New York City’s Top Clubs. In April 2013 FBM hosted its first fashion show to a roaring crowd of over 1000 people.
