Editor Simon Hopper said: “We have seen a swift turnaround in the betting market, with Jim overtaking Ollie Locke at the top of the market – he is now 1/4 to win CBB and looks almost certain to pull it off in Wednesday’s final.”
In what has been possibly the most explosive Celebrity Big Brother yet, Jim has managed to impress the audience with his dry humour and how he managed to handle his situation with Linda Nolan. The fact his rival in the house was voted off and resoundingly booed shows you he has people on his side – and the betting odds changed accordingly!
N-Dubz troublemaker Dappy is currently the second favourite, despite being involved in blazing rows and seemingly only being able to converse about his genitalia. He is 8/1 to win the show – which he admits he is ‘desperate to win’. The big drifter in the market has been Ollie Locke – who at one point was an evens price favourite to go on and claim the crown – but his fence sitting has seen him slip to third favourite at 11/1.
Of the three other finalists, Luisa Zussman (25/1) is the most likely to pip Jim to the post. The former Apprentice star has been an excellent housemate with her cold humour and argumentative ways. Has she won the audience over by being a strong independent woman? Wednesday will prove so, without doubt.
Closing the market are TOWIE beauty Sam Faiers (40/1) who has suffered from illness and suffocation from bigger personalities in the house and glamour model Casey Batchelor (66/1) who has been part of the Lee Ryan love-triangle. The woman initially scorned by the Blue man had a chance to move up the market by ignoring Lee once he came crawling back, but the way she let him back in has obviously not impressed viewers – as her odds show.
