Crowdfunding Success Stories on Google Hangouts

Digital Fundraising School is creating a series of Google Hangouts to entertain, educate, and inform crowdfunders. The school's founder, Lee Schneider, is also leading an online Beginner's Guide to Crowdfunding.

PRLog - Jan. 27, 2014 - LOS ANGELES -- Beginning crowdfunders have an opportunity to have their questions answered in three upcoming, free online events.

Lee Schneider, founder of Digital Fundraising School, will be interviewing Ellen Sperling, co-founder of youvegotfunds.com, in a live Google Hangout. The event is scheduled for Tuesday, January 28th, at 2pm PT.  Ms. Sperling will discuss how at YouveGotFunds experts help crowdfunders get funding, but also help them create, monitor, and execute a business plan. On Monday, February 3, at 12pm PT, Mr. Schneider will interview Rodrigo Davies of the MIT Center for Civic Media about crowdfunding for civic projects and non-profits. Participants will be able to ask Mr. Davies about how to position their civic crowdfunding projects for success.

"I'm looking forward to talking with Rodrigo about how civic and non-profit projects succeed in the crowdfunding space, ask Rodrigo to recommend some platforms to try, and discuss best practices," said Lee Schneider.

For the past four years, Schneider has been creative director of Red Cup Agency, a communications agency that he founded that is known for its work with educators, social activists, media-makers, and leaders of the organic food and wine movement.
