Safe2Cross has completed installation of an Intelligent Forklift Crossing System

JONESBORO, Ark. - Jan. 27, 2014 - PRLog -- Specialty Machinery and Equipment safety division www.safe2cross.com specializes in all types of innovative safety solutions including fully automated safety crossing systems and components. Forklift injuries are on the rise and companies can no longer take a passive approach to ensuring their employees and visitors  safety while in their facility.  This new customer requested a safety system for pedestrian crossings leading into a cafeteria.  This crosswalk puts employees walking directly across forklift traffic.  Safe2cross developed a fully automated solutions that consisted of pedestrian gates, crossing arms and all controls. Intelligent collision avoidance software resides on a PLC and directly interfaces with audibles, high intensity lighting and infared motion sensors.  The customer can now be assured that employees will not be subjected to accidentally injury from forklifts and heavy equipment in the immediate area. This system was custom designed and manufactured to ensure maximum forklift safety crossing and collision avoidance between employees and moving vehicles.
