Jiffy Lube Colorado Springs area “What Drives You?” Scholarship

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - Jan. 27, 2014 - PRLog -- The “What Drives You?” scholarship program, funded by Colorado Springs, Falcon, Fountain & Canon City area Jiffy Lube franchise group Griffin Fast Lube, LLC, will award $3,000 worth of scholarships to two local high school students for the 2013-2014 school year.

Deadline for the “What Drives You?” scholarship program is March 24^th, 2014.

There are two scholarship categories available to Colorado Springs area high school students including students currently taking driver’s education classes and those teen drivers who are already licensed.

Students are asked to submit a 500-word essay detailing what drives them now, as an opportunity to express their inner drive and ambitions.  The scholarships are open to all students regardless of test scores or grades, currently enrolled in high school.

Scholarship money will go directly towards secondary education, in the form of college or other qualified technical or professional program chosen by each winning student.
