Dutch Director Jeffrey Elmont Directs Music Video for Grammy Nominated Song “Only One” by PJ Morton and Featuring Stevie Wonder

“Only One” Nominated for a Grammy for Best R&B Song

Los Angeles, January 25, 2014 – The Grammy’s have given a nomination for Best R&B Song to “Only One,” whose music video was directed by Jeffrey Elmont.  “Only One” is from Morton’s first album “New Orleans” produced by Cash Money Records Inc., headed by co-CEOs Ronald "Slim" Williams (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ronald_%22Slim%22_Williams) and Bryan "Birdman" Williams (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Birdman_%28entertainer%29), and Young Money (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Young_Money_Entertainment)'s head Lil Wayne (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lil_Wayne).

"It was a great experience working with talented artist PJ Morton,” says Jeffrey from his Los Angeles home.  “The inspiration that we both had for the video was the series ‘Mad Men.’ I'm thrilled for his Grammy nomination.  I look forward to working with more artists of PJ’s caliber here in the U.S.”

As a former talented young soccer player in Holland, Dutch Director Jeffrey Elmont’s work in the music industry has included video collaborations with artists such as JoJo, Flo Rida, ONYX, J. McCoy, Brisco, 
J. Lewis, Birdman, Delra Harris and rap star Lil Wayne.

After film school at The Netherlands Film Academy/ The American Film Institute Conservatory, Elmont was busy directing commercials and music-videos for television and the internet.   His award winning debut feature film “Body Language” (2011) was filmed in Argentina, the Netherlands and New York.  Elmont’s short films, “Duister & Licht,” ”League Of Legends” 
and “Junior” also won several prestigious awards Internationally.  His most recent film is the soon to be released feature “Discarded,” starring John Savage.

Elmont has stayed true to his passion for soccer and has brought several projects on the topic to the screen.  He directed “Street Soccer Tour – London, Paris and Africa” which was filmed just before the Soccer World Cup in Africa.   He's currently developing several projects including a series for the Brazil world cup.
