For the 65th Republic Day Celebrations at JMA, Sri Sunder Lalji MLA who currently represents the Pilani constituency in Rajasthan Vidhan Sabha as the Chief Guest hoisted the tricolour flag and took the salute after the parade inspection. The celebrations included a group song (patriotic), PT display, a soul stirring poem by student Ronak Sain and Group Dance based on 100 years of Indian Cinema. The spectacular band display by this pilani school band especially the rendering of Iqbal's immortal all time great song Saare Jahan Se Achha kept the audience spell bound.
Following Chairman Dr Brij Mohan Mishra’s speech, the Chief Guest Sri Sunderlalji appreciated the performance of the students and commended the principal, teachers and staff for putting their best to make JMA one among the top ranking and most sought after schools in Pilani Rajasthan. Pilani sculptor Sri Matu Ram Verma well known in India and abroad for his towering statues was the guest of honor advised the students not to neglect arts and fine arts in their course of study. Principal Mrs Booma Natarajan proposed the vote of thanks. Teachers Mrs Sangeeta Jangir and Mrs Alka Sharma anchored the entire proceedings.
When the 65th Republic Day celebrations ended, the parents and children who had come for the function left with beaming faces and pride that they were indeed part of an institution which is a shining jewel in the crown among the schools at Pilani.
