A Beach Affaire Weds Lovely South African Couple

KOH SAMUI, Thailand - Jan. 26, 2014 - PRLog -- A Beach Affaire (http://abeachaffaire.com/) would like to extend their CONGRATULATIONS to Dorette & Johan who married on a quiet beach on the south-west coast of Koh Samui. This wonderful South African couple were joined by two of their closest friends who witnessed their union on the 24^th of January, 2014.

The day was gorgeous, but not too hot, as the gentle waves caressed the shoreline as they stood, hand-in-hand, sharing personally written vows with each other.

The stunning orange sunset blended perfectly with the fresh flowers and glistened in the background as it reflected off the ocean surface.

“I have been dreaming of a wedding like this – and now I got to experience it, “said Dorette, “It was far better than my wildest expectations – and I got to share this with the man who means the most to me.”

“When my fiancee suggested we get married on the beach in Thailand, I never thought it would be possible. I was told by many people to not trust anyone overseas – but we took the chance and it was well worth it,” related Johan, “We were lucky to find A Beach Affaire who was not only attentive and wonderful, they actually made us feel more important than any day of our life.”

“I didn't think we were going to be able to have a ceremony on Samui since we waited to inquire about the possibility only a few weeks before. Once we made first contact with A Beach Affaire – everything was easy after that.” Johan stated, “We had no idea that we would be taken care of so well.”

Dorette and Johan chose the “Island Rose” package complete with a fragrant rose bouquet and matching button-hole for Johan. They took advantage of the local setting by incorporating rocks and trees into their photographs, rather than stay in one place on the beach. Instead of pre-recorded music they chose to add the beautiful stringed sounds from a local Thai “Khim” player. Once the sun disappeared over the horizon, they released “Love Lanterns”, also know as fire-balloons, into the darkening sky.

They completed their day by enjoying an intimate candle-lit dinner on the beach with their guests, enjoying cocktails and recalling the events of that afternoon.
