Maximo A. Santiago named equity partner at Gaebe, Mullen, Antonelli & DiMatteo

CORAL GABLES, Fla. - Jan. 27, 2014 - PRLog -- Maximo A. Santiago has been promoted from partner to equity partner in the Coral Gables office of the business litigation firm Gaebe, Mullen, Antonelli & DiMatteo. He joined the firm as a law clerk in 2002, and has been an attorney there since 2006.

Mr. Santiago joins his fellow equity partners Greg Gaebe, Michael Mullen, Mark Antonelli, Anthony DiMatteo, Christienne Sherouse and Devang Desai in the 19-lawyer firm.

He is admitted to practice in all Florida state courts and the United States District Court for the Southern and Middle Districts of Florida. He is a member of The Florida Bar, the Coral Gables Bar Association, the Cuban American Bar Association, the Dade County Bar Association, and the Dade County Defense Bar Association. He lives in Miami.

Mr. Santiago focuses on insurance defense, medical malpractice, premises liability, product liability, construction liability, disability liability, general personal injury defense, and the defense of sexual abuse and child abuse cases.

During law school, Mr. Santiago participated in the University of Miami’s respected litigation programs, including the Moot Court competition. He was awarded the Vasquez Scholarship for excellence in litigation. Mr. Santiago served as a Citations Editor for the University of Miami International and Comparative Law Review. He also had the priviledge of interning for United States Magistrate Judge Stephen T. Brown and for the Miami-Dade County State Attorney’s Office. He received his B.S. with honors from the University of Florida.
