New Road Extension from I-15 to Redwood Road

Jan. 24, 2014 - PRLog -- January 24, 2014—Salt Lake County’s newest master-planned community, Independence at The Point, has started construction on a major road in Bluffdale. This road, Porter Rockwell Boulevard, will become a major collector road in the city.

The new road begins just west of I-15 at 146000 South and runs west and will eventually connect to Redwood Road. The new main entrance of Independence at The Point will be located directly off of Porter Rockwell Blvd, just south of 146000 South. This road will provide an industrial-free entrance for homeowners.

Independence at The Point spans 294 acres with 1,994 units. This community features various lot sizes, a parks & trail system, single-family homes, townhomes and easy freeway access.

Independence at The Point is part of the Jordan School District. This new Bluffdale community lies within minutes from the Outlets at Traverse Mountain, Thanksgiving Point and South Towne Center.
