The first episode, which aired January 21st, features SMB Nation’s Harry Brelsford. Brelsford talks at length about what 2014 holds in store for SMB Nation and the MSP community generally. He explains that there are a lot of changes occurring in the community with consultants like Brelsford and Palachuk finding new ways to support and engage their audience. One such noted change is the end of Window’s XP support set to occur this year. Brelsford says they are addressing this particular issue through their peer groups that connects customers needing to upgrade with MSPs who are peer group members.
Brelsford also highlighted SMB Nation’s Emerging Technology Tour, an event tour being carried out throughout the country in 2014, with one “tour stop” each month.
Odd Tuesdays Producer Monica Caraway is optimistic that Odd Tuesdays will further engage Palachuk’s large following. Caraway says “Karl had a terrific following back in 2010 with his Cloud Services Roundtable Podcast and we are confident that we can reach an even larger audience by covering a broader range of managed services issues.”
Palachuk has more than twenty years’ experience in this industry, including: hosting an 11-city road tour for Intel when Intel launched their Hybrid Cloud Server with Lenovo®; serving as a hands-on lab instructor for Microsoft and keynoting at their World Wide Partner Conference®; and training consultants on Hewlett Packard products and being involved in HP’s product advisory councils.
The Podcast will air the first and third Tuesdays of the month with links to the audio found on the Odd Tuesdays website. More information and a link to show episodes can be found at oddtuesdays.com.
