PRLog - Jan. 22, 2014 - LOS ANGELES -- On February 1, 2014, the Citizen’s Commission on Human Rights (CCHR) will hold its annual awards ceremony honoring citizens who have contributed to the mission of removing the abuse of prescription medications under the guise of mental health.
CCHR Human Rights Awards 2014
Vital Warrior founder Mikal Vega will be among four outstanding individuals who will be presented with the 2014 CCHR Human Rights Awards. Among the recipients are a Colonel and Military Psychologist, a Mother who lost her son to psychotropic drugs, and a Civil Rights Attorney who has taken on the pharmaceutical industry.
Mikal Vega, of course, through Vital Warrior, is on a mission to help fellow Veterans to get off prescribed drugs with all natural healing methods.
Previous award recipients have included doctors, state and federal legislators, whistleblowers, attorneys, human and civil rights activists and parents. Together with these individuals, CCHR has helped to enact more than 150 laws against the abusive health practices involving the prescription of medication for mental health.
Vital Warrior is proud to be among the four recipients of such a prestigious award. When founder Mikal was told about the award, he was overcome with emotion and said, “This award is a great indication that the work we are doing with Vital Warrior is on the right path. I am truly honored”.
