New York City Author Pairs up With Norfolk, NE Coalition for Suicide Prevention

The Gospel According to Josh is a comedic and poignant true-to-life tale of love, loss, struggle, and survival—a gospel account of one young man’s passage into manhood—his twenty-eight-year Gentile bar mitzvah.
 
NORFOLK, Neb. - Feb. 2, 2014 - PRLog -- Feb. 03, 2014 - Norfolk, Nebraska -- Josh Rivedal—a New York City author, international public speaker, and writer for the Huffington Post—is releasing a second edition of his memoir, The Gospel According to Josh: A 28-Year Gentile Bar Mitzvah, to benefit the Northeast NE Suicide Prevention Coalition (NNESPC). Twenty-five percent of proceeds from the NNESPC edition will be donated to the NNESPC. Donna Wolff, co-chair of the NNESPC wrote a foreword to the book.

The Gospel According to Josh... is Rivedal’s memoir—a comedic and poignant coming of age story based in part on his acclaimed one-man show that has toured across twenty-six U.S. states and two Canadian provinces, and which made an appearance in Norfolk in September 2013.

The Gospel According to Josh was recently added to The American Foundation for Suicide Prevention's recommended reading list for survivors of suicide loss.
