Halcyon Software Announces New Appointment To Expand European Sales

PETERBOROUGH, U.K. - Jan. 22, 2014 - PRLog -- Halcyon Software, a global leader in multi-platform systems management software, has announced the appointment of Philip Pearson as Senior Sales Manager for Europe.  He will be responsible for developing relationships with new and existing IBM customers across a broad range of market sectors, providing them with multi-platform systems management and security solutions to support critical IT processes running on IBM i, Windows, AIX and Linux platforms.

Phil Pearson has spent over 20 years in the IT industry, with more than 13 years’ experience of the IBM i, (formerly the IBM iSeries), marketplace.  Prior to joining Halcyon, he worked for a direct competitor, Help Systems International, a provider of systems management, security, and business intelligence solutions, where he was Regional Sales Manager for IBM i customers with an international presence.  Earlier in his career he also worked for Vision Solutions, the leading provider of cloud replication and recovery, high availability and cross-platform data sharing systems.
