WILMINGTON, Del. - Jan. 22, 2014 - PRLog -- 1. What is your name?
Damian D. Skipper Pitts (http://www.c-sharpcorner.com/authors/ed4bc1/damiandskipper-pitts.aspx)
2. Tell us a little bit about yourself.
As the Founder/CEO at the Leadership Bar, I am a U.S. Marine turned   strategy and organizational behavioral consultant specializing in executive  coaching, strategic leadership & execution, team building maneuvers, organizational behavior, crisis  leadership and strategy. I work with corporations, non-profits and government entities.
A brilliant strategy or breakthrough technology can put you on the competitive map, but only solid, strategic and flawless execution can keep you there. You have to deliver on your intent, while fighting off opposing wills that set-out to derail you. Unfortunately, by their own admission, a large percentage of leaders aren’t very good at execution or dealing with crises.
To counteract this, our methods – using proven methodologies from the United States Marine Corps – places execution at the forefront using our Five W’s Agenda to help realize the behaviors that lead to a successful Future Picture:

WHO will be impacted - benefited, limited or eliminated?
WHAT are we applying our energy and resources against?
WHERE are we going? This is known as the compass heading and the target [Zulu] time.
WHEN do we plan to arrive to the ‘object’ location and desired effect/outcome?
WHY are we doing this? What is the descriptor about our purpose?

The Five W’s Agenda is the start to everything that leads to leadership’s success. It designs the road map to a strategic execution system that aligns business activities to the vision and strategy of the organization. It creates a culture of execution and improves communications. And, it monitors organizational performance against strategic and financial goals. When fully deployed, it represents the Centers of Gravity for the organization’s nerve center, enabling leaders and teams to truly execute strategies, making real change matter and stick.
3. Please tell us about your professional career.
I am a U.S. Marine Corps veteran now serving as the Founder/CEO at The Leadership Bar, LLC and instructor at Temple University in Philadelphia, PA responsible for teaching Crisis Leadership for Strategic Execution.
4. Please tell us about your latest ventures.
December 2013 launched our publishing imprint, Level 6 Press, an imprint of the Morgan James Publishing Company. I also have two books coming out in the Spring, 2014 titled Crisis Leadership and The Six Dysfunctions of a Crisis.
5. What advice do you give to today’s young generation?
To make a significant difference with a few simple IDEAS for a small change that delivers big results.
6. What advice do you give to a company’s senior leadership?
I want to share three important things for the senior leaders to consider:

Equip the leaders and the organization with the right tools to Better their Best.
Build collaborative work environments that understands how to Win in Fast Time.
Transform the lens of leadership to identify tipping point qualities and to avert the poorly defined missions from the indecisive decision-making that causes harm and operational chaos, while improving opportunities for a good growth behavior

7. If you have to change one thing in today’s world, what would that be?
The reasons why leaders focus on the traditional, irreverent norms that allow them to continue doing the wrong things that no longer have a place due to the pace of change.
8. Please tell us about your latest and the next speaking ventures?
I will be instructing an organizational training forum on Crisis Leadership for Bristol Meyers Squibb in March 2014 and speaking in Denver, CO at the JV Alert Live conference, April 25-27, 2014.
9. How are you associated with C# Corner?
Business colleague of Mr. Mahesh Chand
10. What do you do for fun and hobbies?
As a military fiction reader, I admire the works of Tom Clancy, W.E.B Griffin, Harold Coyle and Larry Bond. These authors tell stories that span continents and reach the highest levels of command decision-making. As a writer myself, I prefer to describe the military experience at the pointy end of the spear, where warriors in muddy boots and, sweat and blood stained uniforms, continue to do their duty with remarkable skill and valor, often at extraordinary personal cost and sacrifice.
