Laurie is a born and raised Vancouverite who has also studied design locally. Before turning to jewellery design, Laurie studied Fine Arts and later, Art History at UBC where she obtained her B.A., with a focus on eighteenth and nineteenth century French Art. You can feel this influence in her designs.
