Nature Scape’s Celebrates 30 Years in Business in Flagler County

Palm Coast, FL - Nature Scape’s, a landscape, garden center, and florist with a gift shop in Bunnell, is pleased to be celebrating 30 years in business this year.

“It’s a big milestone,” said Marylou Baiata, owner of Nature Scape’s, “I started with a pickup truck and a shovel, and now have a thriving landscape business and a 4.5 acre garden center, it’s amazing how far we’ve come,” she added. “We are very excited to be celebrating 30 years,” says general manager, and Marylou’s son, Chris Baiata, who joined the company in 2007 after graduating from college with a Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Horticulture.

“We are seeing a new generation of customers, people I went to high school here with, the business is coming full circle,” he added.

They will be hosting a 30-year anniversary open house in the Spring, when the garden center is in full bloom.

Opened by Marylou Baiata in 1984, Nature Scape’s has been designing, installing and maintaining landscaping for local homeowners and private communities for 30 years. They have a garden center, florist (with worldwide delivery through the 1-800-flowers network), and gift shop as well. They offer a variety of native plants, flowers, garden supplies, pottery, trees and shrubs, and are well educated on the local city tree requirements. They consider themselves shepherds for the environment through the practice of sustainable Florida friendly landscaping, using organic techniques and the best quality of plants and garden amendments.

Nature Scape’s has added a Ecological Farm this past year as well, focusing on education, organic growing practices and sustainable living for the local community. Their goal is to grow plants for resale in containers, as well as selling fresh produce, and homemade goods from the garden. They also serve as a rescue facility for birds, goats and chickens on the property.

Nature Scape’s is located at 313 Old Brick Road in Bunnell, FL, just three miles west of I-95 off East SR 100, past Town Center on the left.
