IT Service Provider Relocates to Downtown Kalamazoo Office After 600% Growth in 2013

KALAMAZOO, Mich. - Jan. 20, 2014 - PRLog -- We are excited to announce that the build-out is finally finished and our team has made the move to our new location in downtown Kalamazoo. Since 2012, when we moved to the Kingsedge office building off of Kings Highway, Omega Computer Services has been steadily growing. Our Kingsedge office space was only 800 square feet and was the perfect size for our four full-time employees. However, in just a year and a half, we have doubled in size and therefore could no longer fit comfortably in 800 square feet. Although we will miss our old home, we couldn't be more excited about the opportunities ahead.

The new office is located directly across the street from the Arcadia Creek Festival Place at 167 E. Kalamazoo Ave. in Suite 110. The building was formerly home to Neil's Automotive.

When we first looked at the space, it was an empty canvas...with two bathrooms and awesome ceilings.  After meeting with numerous contractors and interior design firms, we finally came up with blueprints and color schemes. As walls were framed and the drywall was finished, we could finally start to see our dreams become a reality. After two and half months, lots of hard work, and a few hiccups, our new office was finally finished. We made the move from the old office to the new office on November 8, 2013. It was one of the most exciting moments we all have experienced yet.

Our last office was only a few minutes or so from downtown. The new space is right in the heart of downtown and puts us within easy walking of everything! The location lets our team take advantage of all the offerings of downtown Kalamazoo. We’re all huge advocates for this community, and we’re excited that our office location now furthers that commitment.

We have kept the design of our loft-style office space very open and modern. Extensive, arched steel frame and timber ceilings and oversized windows are highlights of the building. Our new space has five glass-fronted offices, a large glass-fronted conference room, four tech support stations with room for four additional stations, a lounge area, a workroom, a kitchenette, and two restrooms.

"It's an exciting time for us, and we couldn't have got this far without the amazing relationships we have with our clients and staff. We look at this new location as the start of another chapter

in our history," said Ron Harris, our CTO. "A big thank you goes out to Glas Associates and SKP Design for working so hard to make our dreams become a reality."
