Home Brewing Workshop with Award Winning Brewers Tess and Mark Szamatulski

Learn how to brew and appreciate your own beer in this informative workshop with award winning brewers Tess and Mark Szamatulski at the Oliver Wolcott Library on Wednesday, February 26, 2014 from 7:00- 8:00 p.m.
 
LITCHFIELD, Conn. - Jan. 21, 2014 - PRLog -- Learn how to brew and appreciate your own beer in this informative workshop with award winning brewers, Tess and Mark Szamatulski, who will introduce the audience to successful brewing techniques and ingredients such as hops, grain, water and yeast, sanitizing, fermentation, beer styles and more.  Samples of homebrew will be served!  Please bring your I.D. to show you are 21 years of age or older.

Tess and Mark Szamatulski are the owners of Maltose Express, a 7,000 square foot retail store and educational facility in Monroe Connecticut that provides help, advice, guidance and classes to promote home-brewed beer, homemade wine, hard cider, mead, soda, liqueurs, vinegars and cheese.  They are the co-authors of two beer recipe books, Clone Brews, Second Edition and Beer Captured.  They have been filmed for the Discovery Channel’s series “How Things Work” and have been featured on Time.com.  They will also be opening a micro-brewery in Monroe, Connecticut next year.  Visit their website at maltoseexpress.net.
