The new show on the network will be The Patrick Shaffer Show, hosted by Patrick D'Anzel Shaffer.
Fast becoming one of the most profound and insightful voices of his generation, Shaffer is a writer, national blogger, and sacred activist, fusing a profound cultural sensitivity with a passion for progressive leadership, speaking out for human rights, improved race relations, and HIV/AIDS prevention. He has garnered national recognition from the National Urban League’s Urban Influence magazine, which named him one of their “Most Influential Men in America” in 2009. He was profiled in the July 2009 issue of Essence magazine and featured on the April 2008 cover of Being Single magazine. He has written for the Huffington Post, MSNBC’s TheGrio.com, TheRoot.com and The Washington Post’s On Faith section, and is a regular guest on local and national TV and radio.
This week Patrick will launch the much-anticipated "The Patrick Shaffer Show” in partnership with Charles Clark and Nebo Media Group. He says "the show will cover music, arts, faith and religion, pop culture and politics as well as serve as a platform to talk about things that matter.
