PRLog - Jan. 20, 2014 - DETROIT -- Detroit, MI – Young country music sensation Paulina Jayne accepts invite from multi-Grammy Award winning producer, Toby Wright, to audition for NBC’s hit show “The Voice” next month in Nashville, Tennessee.
“Paulina Jayne is an amazingly dynamic performer, who exudes vocal and musical talent far beyond her years,” said Toby Wright. “Her music is pure with heartfelt emotion and honest, innocently pure lyrics. Check out this girl's voice...... Simply amazing!!”
Paulina Jayne, a High School Senior, has accumulated an impressive resume sharing the marquee (performing her own material) with notable country music star icons as Miranda Lambert, Blake Shelton, Chase Rice, Jerrod Niemann, Luke Bryan, Dierks Bentley and Blackberry Smoke. She also had the honor of opening for Sheryl Crow (with special guests Kid Rock and Herschel Boone) at the DTE Energy Music Center in Detroit, Michigan.
“Paulina is very talented and it has been a joy and privilege watching her grow and develop her talent,” said Herschel Boone, All-Star Vocalist of Kid Rock’s Twisted Brown Trucker Band. “I’m happy to have been even a small part of that process. She’s an awesome person and talent.”
This past year, Paulina Jayne released her EP “Girl Who Would Be King” at Live Nation’s St. Andrew’s Hall; performed to a sold-out crowd at The Shelter (according to Live Nation, aside from Eminem, she was one of a few artists to sell out a performance at The Shelter); became an artist in development with Trey Bruce in Nashville and filmed three music videos for her songs “Get Back on Your Feet,” “Pass the Moonshine” featuring Trick Trick and the recently released “He Doesn’t Know It Yet," which debuted to a full house at The Magic Bag Theater on Thanksgiving eve. “Get Back On Your Feet” received three Best Music Video honors; 2013 Student Emmy Award, 2013 Detroit Music Award Nomination and 2013 Uptown Film Festival Nomination.
"No one does Paulina better than Paulina. New music from one of the hardest working females in our industry,” said Bonnie Baker, #1 Hit Songwriter. “She is making music her own way with no apology…come along for the ride and enjoy."
“The Voice” audition aside, Paulina Jayne’s 2014 calendar is already jammed packed with writing sessions in Nashville with Emmy Award Winning Songwriter / Music Producer Trey Bruce for her upcoming EP; another music video in the works with Emmy Award Winning Producer Jennifer Champagne; a concert fundraiser for her high school class prom; a music festival fundraiser for the Munising Fire Department in the Upper Peninsula; a performance with Kenny Olson at Union Street Station in Traverse City; and of course more performances around Detroit and Nashville.
"I feel the rumble of 2014 beneath my boots! Everything in my life is in high gear, from songwriting to production to performance,”
