DETROIT - Jan. 20, 2014 - PRLog -- Detroit, MI  January 13, 2014 – Milton Eric Fletcher, founder of Great Minds Coaching, has been awarded the PCC (Professional Certified Coach) credential for the International Coach Federation. Reserved for the proven coach, the PCC credential requires at least 750 hours of client coaching experience plus specific coach training.

“As a professional coach, I am honored to guide individuals through their personal and professional development journey,” says Milt Fletcher.  “Adding the PCC credential in addition to my MBA and Neurolinguistic Programming training serves as further evidence of commitment to advancement in the coaching industry.”

The International Coach Federation (ICF) offers three credentials: Associate Certified Coach (ACC), Professional Certified Coach (PCC) and the Master Certified Coach (MCC).  According to the ICF, “the mission of the ICF Credentialing program is to protect and serve consumers of coaching services, measure and certify competence of individuals, and inspire pursuit of continuous development.” In a 2010 ICF Global Consumer Awareness Study, clients who worked with an ICF Credentialed Coach were more likely to be satisfied with their coaching experience and recommend coaching to others. In addition, in that same study, it was revealed that 84% of adult consumers who had experienced a coaching relationship reported that it was important for coaches to hold a credential.
