Fashion Scarves/Shawls Are The Best Way To Give Your Outfit A Facelift

LOS ANGELES - Jan. 18, 2014 - PRLog -- In spring wear light chiffon scarves, silk scarves in pastel solids or a multicolored spring chiffon scarf wrap and look beautiful. In summer cotton scarves are awesome. Nothing is better than soft cotton in summer so cotton scarves are a must have to get a cool airy feel and a stylish look. I love wearing long cotton or chiffon scarves and then converting them to sarongs at the beach. So Versatile!  In fall I stock up on beautiful pashmina wool scarves / cashmere pashmina scarves that have soft luxurious warmth for the cool weather. In winter my best choice is thick wool scarves or pure cashmere scarves preferably in 4 ply thickness as most states in the USA have very cold winters.

My choice of scarves takes into account the material or yarn and colors/designs depending on my outfit. If I have a solid color outfit or just a simple black evening dress my choice of scarves can vary from solid scarves in seasonal color trends to multi colored scarves with seasonal designs like butterflies, dragonflies, lady bugs for spring and summer even flowery elegance on a scarf makes it beautiful and fashionable.

If my outfit is busy and has beadwork and a pattern to it then I will choose a solid color scarf to match. I will pick one of the colors in the outfit that will look great with my eyes or hair and wear a scarf in that color. Matching a scarf to my shoes bag and jewelry is something I do very often.  Sometimes a black, beige, silver, ivory white, cream, blue, navy and red scarf which are classic scarf colors will do it. I always have scarves in these colors as they come in very handy to match many outfits in my wardrobe.

I choose the fabric of the scarf or yarn depending on the season and if I want to feel cool or warm and protected. In fall I will take out my woolen scarves and infinity scarves. I love the soft feel of cashmere pashmina scarves and the plush thickness/warmth is a must for the cool fall air. In winter thick wool scarves and lots of cashmere scarves are my very favorite.
