The site's creation was inspired by the customers of BackyardGamez.com, an online retailer also owned by Burdette Thomas Company LLC. When ordering cornhole board decals, a portion of their customers were unsure of how close the decal colors matched the actual team's colors. Thus CornholeBoardDecal.com was born to give potential customers a tool for comparing team and decal colors.

http://www.cornholeboarddecal.com allows cornhole players and builders to design a set of cornhole boards by simply selecting their favorite pro or college football, baseball, basketball, or hockey team. The Team Board Designer includes two on-screen cornhole boards side by side. As teams are selected, the boards generate borders, color fills, and team logos. One board uses team colors while the other uses decal colors from BackyardGamez.com.

The left cornhole board is designed using the team's colors and logo. The right cornhole board is designed using the closest decal color matches from BackyardGamez.com. This gives potential customers a side-by-side comparison of the team's colors and the decals. If the visitor decides they want to purchase the decals, they can click the large yellow Order button located at the top right of the site.

In addition to selecting a sports team, visitors can also manually change the border, circle border, and fill of each cornhole board in minutes. Each color field has a convenient color picker for choosing literally millions of colors. Builders can use the color pickers to create mockups for displaying to their potential customers. Additionally, all colors (both team and decal) are listed as paint sample tags at the bottom of the board designer. This provides an excellent color comparison and could be used for paint mixing.
