With the podcast in its infancy, Johnson is surprised at its popularity. “I’ve just been interviewing people that can help others become more healthy.” The podcast has featured some interesting interview subjects such as Alec Steury who runs a colonic clinic in Portland, emotional eating expert Dr. Edward Abramson and fellow podcaster, William Shaker, whose podcast, Endless Possibilities, is a popular motivational show.
When asked how he chooses his subjects to interview, Johnson said, “I just think of people I admire. I see what they are contributing to help people. If it matches my message, then I help them share it.”
It’s a thrill for him to interview a hero of his, Dr. Barry Sears. “I heard about The Zone years ago, I read the book and followed his advice. It changed my life. Literally. It’s how I eat to this day and I how I advise clients to eat. It makes the most sense.”
The interview will air January 20. You can find it on itunes or stitcher radio: livefitlean.com.itunes or livefitlean.com.stitcher
