ATLANTA - Jan. 29, 2014 - PRLog -- ISIS Women’s Health Care, not affiliated with the now closed Isis Parenting, is the only practice in Atlanta that offers a true continuity of care for expecting parents beginning before they get pregnant and continuing well past the traditional six-week post-partum period. By supporting each client with expert medical and homeopathic attention, education forms and support groups, ISIS clients have been proven to have better birth outcomes.

The ISIS model of care is unique in that it offers more than just regular check ups and the opportunity to have a natural, unmedicated birth. Clients travel from all over metro Atlanta to take advantage the high rate of success with vaginal birth after cesarean sections (VBACs) and water births. ISIS Women’s Health Care has also maintained one of the lowest c-section rates in metro Atlanta since its inception in 2007.

In addition, soon-to-be moms and dads enjoy a plethora of opportunities surrounding the birth experience. For instance, ISIS offers a monthly childbirth education class, evening sessions with the midwives, in-office lactation consultation, post-partum support groups and access to helpful community resources such as massage, chiropractic care and exercise programs.

Certified nurse midwives, Kim Storey and Beverly Tanner, see mothers who are looking for natural birth experiences including water births, VABCs, Bradley and Hypnobirthing methods at the Alpharetta office. The midwives deliver their mothers at North Fulton Hospital taking advantage of the water birthing tubs, experienced natural labor nursing staff and a Level II Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.

Dr. Hughan Frederick, board-certified in obstetrics and gynecology, specializes in high risk prenatal care, bariatric obstetrics, heavy menstruation cycles, feminine complications, and maintains one of the lowest c-section rates in the metro Atlanta area. He services both Emory Johns Creek and North Fulton Hospitals.
