Multi-Tank Emergency Water System Launched by California Company

LifeTank created in response to disasters similar to the chemical spill in West Virginia

CAMARILLO, Calif. - Jan. 17, 2014 - PRLog -- A new multi-tank water system was recently launched by Life Systems Group to provide companies, churches and other organizations with large amounts of fresh drinking water in the event of a disaster or emergency. LifeTank was invented to assist in exactly the type of disasters as seen this month in West Virginia – where 300,000 people were told not to drink or shower in their tap water due to a chemical spill in a nearby river.

The standard LifeTank system contains a single tank that stores 80 or 120 gallons of water. The introduction of multi-tank systems allows two, three, or four tanks to be installed in-line, offering storage capacities of up to 480 gallons of water, with additional capacities available through custom design.

With LifeTank’s patent-pending technology, water automatically flows through the tank with normal household use, meaning the water doesn’t stagnate. In the event that water supply becomes polluted, LifeTank can be isolated from contamination. Therefore, LifeTank provides continuously refreshed water while simultaneously addresses three needs:

Access to emergency water
Ability to isolate from contamination
Continuous replenishment of fresh water without maintenance or filtration

“People can live for an extended period without food; however, daily water intake is essential for survival,” says Dave Foucar, president of Life Systems Group. “We created LifeTankafter Hurricane Sandy hit, leaving hundreds of Americans without running water for several days, or the possibility of contaminated water. LifeTank allows families to easily safeguard against disaster – simply install and leave it.”

“If an earthquake, hurricane, winter storm, or other disaster strikes your community, you might not have access to food, water, and electricity for days or even weeks,” state the American Red Cross and the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA). “…Having an ample supply of clean water is a top priority in an emergency… Store at least one gallon per person, per day. Consider storing at least a two-week supply of water for each member of your family.”
