2014 Arizona Higher Education Sustainability Conference Announces Three Keynotes for Inaugural Event

Headliners Hail From Dell, Office Depot and Second Nature Education For Sustainability
 
TUCSON, Ariz. - Jan. 16, 2014 - PRLog -- The Arizona Higher Education Sustainability Conference

is proud to announce a slate of keynotes, renowned for their impact as well as thought leadership on sustainability, to headline its inaugural event hosted by the University of Arizona, March 24-25, 2014.

Bruno Sarda, Director of Sustainability, Dell // March 24, 9 a.m.

Bruno is responsible for the operational strategy of Dell's Global Sustainability efforts. This includes business integration, governance, information management, measurement & reporting strategy, as well as supporting advocacy, policy & objective setting across internal and external stakeholder engagement.

Tony Cortese, Co-Founder, Second Nature Education for Sustainability // March 24, 4:15 p.m.

Anthony D. Cortese, ScD is a Senior Fellow of Second Nature, the Boston-based advocacy organization committed to promoting sustainability through higher education. He was its co-founder along with U.S. Senator John Kerry (D-MA), and Bruce Droste and served as president from March 1993-August 2012. He was the organizer of the American College & University Presidents Climate Commitment and co-founder of the Association for the Advancement of Sustainability in Higher Education and the Higher Education Association Sustainability Consortium.

Yalmaz Siddiqui, Senior Director, Environmental Sustainability, Office Depot // March 25, 2 p.m.

Yalmaz is responsible for setting strategic direction and integrating a wide range of environmental programs into the global organization. Office Depot's industry-leading environmental programs span all parts of the company - from supply chain (buying green) to internal operations (being green), to business and consumer markets (selling green).
