In this role, Florentino, who is currently completing her senior year at Bentley University, uses her knowledge of tax, accounting and general business to conduct research and provide tax credit assistance. Prior to joining Cherrytree Group, she held an internship with the global accounting firm PriceWaterhouse Coopers.
In addition to being a candidate for a Bachelor of Science in Accountancy, Florentino is also a candidate for a Master’s of Science in Taxation from Bentley University, a designation she hopes to obtain in the spring of 2015.
A member of the National Association for Black Accountants (NABA), Florentino is certified in Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) and provides free tax preparation services for families whose net annual income is below $50,000.
Florentino and her son make their home in Boston.
