Randy M. Masel Joins Granite Springs Asset Management as Portfolio Manager

SUMMIT, N.J. - Jan. 15, 2014 - PRLog -- Summit, NJ, January 15, 2014 - It gives me great pleasure to announce that Randy M. Masel has joined Granite Springs Asset Management.  Randy brings with him over 30 years of expertise in the investment grade and high yield corporate bond market both as a credit analyst and portfolio manager. Randy will be responsible for the implementation and management of a new corporate bond strategy for the firm.

Randy’s corporate bond career started as a corporate bond analyst for Paine Webber Inc.  From there he worked in several research related positions with the firm working his way up to assume the role of Managing Director where he was responsible for overseeing the entire U. S. credit research department.  More recently he worked as a hedge fund portfolio manager and credit analyst for Millennium Partners, L.P., Moore Capital Management, James Caird Asset Management, and JAE Credit.

Randy adds significant experience and depth to our team.  We are very excited he is now a member of the Granite Springs family.
