NJ Law Firm Welcomes NYBC

On January 9, 2014, the New Jersey-based law firm of Wilentz, Goldman & Spitzer sponsored their 58th blood drive. A staunch supporter of community activities, Wilentz held its first blood drive on December 10, 1982, and has since sponsored a semi-annual drive each year. A total of nineteen donors presented, and the blood drive succeeded in collecting 15 whole blood donations and 3 power red cell donations - amassing 18 units.
"We always look forward to hosting our semi-annual blood drive, as it serves as a wonderful way for our firm and community to give back to others," said Ron Henry, Executive Director for Wilentz, Goldman & Spitzer. "With someone needing blood every two seconds, we strongly support the NYBC and its commitment to hospitals and patients in our community and the surrounding areas.”

The New York Blood Center is one of the largest community-based, nonprofit blood collection and distribution organizations in the United States.
