Gerard first embarked upon the building of his own personal development company, Noble Manhattan, in 1996 after the sale of his previous insurance business. He was very attracted to the idea of working with individuals;
His enthusiasm for coaching and the results that coaching can yield remains just as high to this day and is reflected in the phenomenal success he has experienced worldwide. When looking to source a professional coach Gerard recommends that the first key step is to get a good understanding of what coaching and mentoring really is, he then suggests making sure an individual does their due diligence and check out adequately the people they are considering having as their coach or mentor. Coaching is at its most effective when there is strong rapport and as such, doing a bit of upfront research will ensure that the process is as effective as it can possibly be.
