North County Health Services to Receive $25,000 of Donated Health Care Products

SAN MARCOS, Calif. - Jan. 15, 2014 - PRLog -- North County Health Services, a 501(c)(3) Federally Qualified Health Center, announced today that it will receive health care product donations over the next two years valued at up to $25,000 as part of its renewed agreement with Henry Schein Cares, the global social responsibility program of Henry Schein, Inc.

Henry Schein Cares helps to expand access to health care for underserved and at-risk populations around the world in the areas of wellness and prevention; emergency preparedness and relief; and capacity building.

Ongoing participation in the Henry Schein Cares program will enable North County Health Services to more effectively carry out its mission "to improve the health status of our diverse communities by providing quality healthcare that is comprehensive, affordable, and culturally sensitive" and expand its ability to provide care to low-income, uninsured/underinsured adults and children in northern San Diego County.

"These donations will allow NCHS to continue providing the best quality health care possible to underserved patients throughout North County."
