TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® Expands to Washington, D.C. Metro Area

BETHESDA, Md. - Jan. 15, 2014 - PRLog -- Rockville, Md., Jan. 13, 2014 – TWO MEN AND A TRUCK®, the leading moving service franchise system, is now moving residents and businesses forward across the Washington, D.C., metropolitan area out of its new Rockville, Md., franchise location. It has already broken franchise-wide records for the most moves in its first and second months of operation.

The new location in Rockville, located at 5008 Boiling Brook Pkwy, brings the quality moving services that TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® is known for to the D.C. area with flexible scheduling and personal storage space for customers.

The new location features an office and call center with five moving trucks. It currently employs 12 movers and drivers and a customer care director, with plans to hire additional employees.

Its franchise co-owners, Brooke and Les Wilson, currently operate seven franchise locations across Atlanta, Ga., and the Raleigh-Durham area of North Carolina, which are common relocation cities for those moving into and out of D.C.

“About 25 percent of our moves are typically long-distance and we have found that a majority of these moves in our footprint are customers relocating between the D.C. and Raleigh-Durham areas,” said Wilson. “This made our expansion to the D.C. market a natural fit that helps us better serve the residents and businesses of both areas.”
