According to John Mendel, executive vice president of automobile sales for American Honda Motor Co., the new Honda Fit is “faster, more fuel-efficient, and more fun.” Mendel also said that the 2015 Fit is “the best Fit to date.”

The exterior of the 2015 Honda Fit features a sporty look with its new and aggressive front fascia. Both the grille and the headlights offer a new design, with the headlights being larger than before. This subcompact model sits atop a new chassis and rides on standard 16-inch wheels. While this new model is shorter than the 2014 Fit, it is wider and has a longer wheelbase, which helps deliver better handling and maneuverability. The rear reflectors and the LED taillights help give a more dynamic appearance.

The interior offers more space and legroom than the previous edition, with the 2015 Fit seeing an increase of close to five cubic feet of passenger volume and nearly five inches of rear legroom. The Honda-exclusive Magic Seat allows for multiple seating configurations, delivering 52.7 cubic feet of storage space with the second row of seats folded flat.

Class-leading standard features include Bluetooth connectivity and a rearview camera. Optional premium features available on this subcompact include a push-button start, heated seats, Honda’s LaneWatch display, and HondaLink smartphone connectivity.

Under the hood of the 2015 Honda Fit will be an all-new direct injected 1.5L four-cylinder engine that produces 130 hp and 114 lb-ft of torque, an increase of 13 hp and 8 lb-ft of torque from the 2014 model.
