UniPay is the First Unified Gateway for Card Present and Card-Not-Present for Vantiv and Litle

NEW YORK - Jan. 15, 2014 - PRLog -- United Thinkers, a New-York based commercial open-source Payment Management Software provider, announces completion and certification of the UniPay Payment Gateway software integration with Vantiv.

Vantiv and Litle & Co. offer a combined platform for merchants that take advantage of the unique strengths of both companies.  Litle & Co. provides strong card-not-present and eCommerce tools with chargeback-handling APIs and real-time merchant provisioning, while Vantiv, the world’s leading PIN Debit acquirer, provides extensive functionality around transaction processing features, including various types of card-present transactions.

The UniPay Platform now provides unified access through the same API to both Platforms in a transparent way for merchants. Card-Not-Present transactions (real-time or batch) can be processed through the Litle & Co. system, while Card-Present transactions can be handled through Vantiv in a seamless way, without requiring separate integrations. ACH can be handled through Litle & Co. as well.

The integration with both platforms reduces the set-up time for Merchants looking to use Vantiv’s Tandem platform by eliminating the need to code for the ISO 8583 specification. Merchants that use Litle & Co.’s Card-Not-Present and ACH features will now have Card-Present processing without additional integration efforts.

In addition to the unified access to both systems, UniPay has integrated chargeback management for Litle & Co. and offers support for merchant provisioning for Payment Facilitators. The UniPay Platform also includes chargeback integration with American Express, further enhancing the functionality of the Litle & Co. chargeback functionality, and providing a unified way to manage chargebacks through the UniPay interface or API.

The UniPay Platform provides additional tools for Payment Facilitators, such as advanced remittance engine, residual revenue sharing capabilities and numerous other tools.  The same unified interface provides access to both Vantiv and Litle & Co. payment processing platforms and also enables processing through 60 other processing platforms worldwide.
