SANTA MONICA, Calif. - Jan. 15, 2014 - PRLog -- Digital Fundraising School is announcing a free crowdfunding class to kick off its new season of webinars and workshops. The hourlong class, led by the school's founder Lee Schneider, will provide prospective crowdfunders with insight about choosing their crowdfunding platform, how to discover their most passionate fans online and turn them into contributors and supporters, and inside information about producing a successful crowdfunding video.

"I like to ask people, 'Are you crowdfundable?'" the school's founder, Lee Schneider said. "And a big part of the class it all about helping you evaluate your passion project to see if it's a good fit for this kind of digital fundraising.  So many media projects, tech products and causes are crowdfundable, and success depends so much on how you prepare for your campaign before you launch."

The class is scheduled for February 20th, at 12:30 ET/9:30PT and is taking place online so that anyone can attend.  Signups are being handled by Eventbrite.  (http://www.eventbrite.com/e/digital-fundraising-school-fr...)

"I have a background in production, having directed, produced and written documentaries for The History Channel, TLC, Court TV, Discovery Health, Reelz Channel and many others, so I bring a lot of experience to media making," Schneider said.
