Enterprises Corp Toasts a Successful 2013 and Welcomes 2014 with High Spirits

As a result, one of the greatest accomplishments for the firm in 2013 was the team’s commitment to local volunteering or fundraising efforts.  In 2013, members of team Enterprises Corp were heavily involved in fundraising for one of their own, Jessica, who was diagnosed with cancer. She required treatment and so, the team worked tirelessly and raised $5,000 to go towards the cost of treatment. Because of this, the team is facing 2014 with renewed charitable spirits and proactively seeking out more ways to give back to their community.

This time, we’re giving back to one of Maryland’s own, and the fundraising really helped us bond as a team. It really boosted our morale to know we were helping someone who really needed it, too."

Along with fundraising efforts, Enterprises Corp has been busy on the business front as well. 2013 saw the team taking part in training events at the Top Leaders’ Meeting in Dallas, TX, where top performers got to attend an invitation-only meeting to help them hone their skills further in their areas of expertise. Attendees got to learn from the exceptional guest speakers who were on hand to put them through their paces through a variety of discussions and activities about the current techniques and trends in marketing. The company is already in the middle of selecting team members for 2014’s Top Leaders meeting, and as the slots are limited, only the best of the best will be invited.

The team also got to attend the Owner’s Retreat in Montego Bay, Jamaica, a two-day affair that gave chosen team members an opportunity to engage in light training as well as some fun in the sun. Events included dinners at local restaurants, where the team got to enjoy the delicious local food; fun at the state-of-the-art waterpark, which included a lazy river and rope bridges as well as pools for kids of all ages; and, of course, waterslides. The event was such a success that this early in the year, Enterprises Corp is already planning for 2014’s Owner’s Retreat and will be announcing the chosen tropical venue soon.

The Enterprises Corp leadership also believes that diversity is their greatest strength, and as a result, encourages the team to participate in team bonding activities every chance they get. Team bonding allows all members to draw on the wealth of experience and wisdom of all team members, as well as to collectively learn new skills. This year, the team was involved in skydiving, a boat cruise, paintballing, bowling, dodge ball, a team dinner and office Olympics. Enterprises Corp wants to elevate these team-bonding occasions and organize even more fun and exciting team events in 2014.
