The Super Brand will welcome 2014 with a series of hairdressing advertisements depicting magazine covers and exciting campaigns. The hair campaigns will focus on trending hairstyles, seasonal hair colors and the latest hair fashion.
The brand hopes to also meet the high demand of the beauty and personal care industry by reaching out through the campaign. It was reported on Channel News Asia recently that this market in Singapore has grown to US$1.46 Billion in 2013, a 5.8 percent increase from 2012.
Mervin Wee, Creative Director of Jean Yip Group believes that “People look at hair as something that either defines them as a person or as a fashion accessory. We hope to exceed the industry standard further with this campaign and of course, help everyone achieve their ideal hairstyle.”
The first quarter of the campaign, titled ‘Be the Cover’, will focus on fashion hairstyling. The campaign will also feature a stylish new set of print advertisements that resemble a magazine cover, with brand ambassador and actress, Cheryl Wee from Mediacorp’s television series, Mata-Mata. The ad reminds of the company’s leading position in the industry by presenting the latest hair fashion to the public, as well as to help everyone achieve a ‘cover girl’ look.
In conjunction with the advertisements, Jean Yip has launched a contest to give away $10, 000 worth of hair makeovers and hair vouchers to 1,010 winners. From 1st February to 31st March, participants can submit a recent photo and an interesting hair style idea to email@example.com. 10 lucky winners will get a chance to be styled personally by Jean Yip Group’s Creative Director, Mervin Wee.
