Carlisle Events Adds Tony Cline to Full-Time Staff

CARLISLE, Pa. - Jan. 14, 2014 - PRLog -- Through the fall of 2010, Carlisle Events backed multiple collector car auctions under the brand of Carlisle Auctions.  Between 2011 and 2013, a partnership with another auction company powered dates annually.  Now, with 2014 part of the here and now and with the return of Carlisle Auctions, Carlisle Events is pleased to announce the addition of Tony Cline to the Carlisle Events’ full-time staff.

Cline comes on board to be the new Carlisle Auctions Director of Operations and in doing so, brings more than 25 years of automotive experience with him.  By overseeing four auction events annually, he has the opportunity to interact with thousands of enthusiasts as well as work hands on with well over 1,000 amazing pieces of automotive history each year.  The four auction dates include Zephyrhills Winter AutoFest (February 21-22), Spring Carlisle (April 24-25), Fall Carlisle (October 2-3) and Zephyrhills Fall AutoFest (November 14-15).

Last Fall's Zephyrhills AutoFest hosted 400-plus units and was hugely popular. With Cline's expertise and Carlisle's promotion of its new FREE UNLESS SOLD policy, the future auctions will continue to grow in size.  Lots range from modern day collector cars to early era production.  Cline will be responsible to assure that every consignment meets a high set of standards, making each event a destination more than just an attraction.  Ultimately, Cline wants everyone who attends to feel like more than just a number.  His goal is to make everyone feel like part of the Carlisle family.

A Biglerville High School graduate from Adams County, Carlisle's neighbor to the south, Cline has worked in the automotive world for the past 25 years.  Cline comes to Carlisle Auctions from Graham Motor Company where he most recently was the General Manager.  Graham, also located in Carlisle, specializes in the sales of Buick, Cadillac and GMC vehicles.   In addition to his youth-based education, Cline studied at and graduated from the National Auto Dealers Association’s Dealer Academy.  That, combined with his many years on the job, makes him a perfect match for what Carlisle Auctions has to offer beginning in 2014.
