CARLISLE, Pa. - Jan. 14, 2014 - PRLog -- During the first week of October in 2013, Carlisle Events and Auctions America hosted Fall Carlisle.  The weekend was ultimately the last joint offering between the two brands after a successful three-year run.  Not long after that, Carlisle Events re-introduced its auction brand, Carlisle Auctions, and offered an unforgettable auction weekend in Florida as part of Zephyrhills Fall AutoFest.  Now, as the calendar flips to 2014 and with 4 auction dates offered during the upcoming season, Carlisle Events is excited to announce the official return of Carlisle Auctions as the exclusive presenter of collector auctions backed by Carlisle Events.

The Carlisle Auctions brand will be present during Spring and Fall Carlisle as well as Zephyrhills Fall and Winter AutoFest in 2014, each auction offering will be packed with two full days of lots of auction-themed excitement.  The auction dates for 2014 are as follows:  Zephyrhills Winter AutoFest (February 21-22), Spring Carlisle (April 24-25), Fall Carlisle (October 2-3) and Zephyrhills Fall AutoFest (November 14-15).

As part of the auctions and presentation by Carlisle Auctions, enthusiasts who enjoy these types of happenings, either as a buyer, seller or spectator, will enjoy a more streamlined process.  The process includes uniform fees for buyers and sellers, the new and hugely popular FREE UNLESS SOLD policy and cars offered via a SPOTLIGHT designation.  The entire process will be very user friendly for everyone.  Complete details on fees are available as part of the auction packet available through the Carlisle Events web page.  Those interested may also call the Carlisle Auctions office at 717-243-7855 (extension 167 or 187) and speak with an auctions specialist.

In addition to streamlined fees and an easier registration process, the FREE UNLESS SOLD policy allows for a consigner to offer a car with the assurance that if the car does not sell, all fees associated with the registration process are refunded.  The aforementioned SPOTLIGHT feature is another great way to sell a car.  With this option and for an additional fee, a car is guaranteed to run during a certain time slot, regardless of where in the run list the auction is.  Just like a FREE UNLESS SOLD car, if the SPOTLIGHT car doesn't sell, all fees are refunded.

Finally, Carlisle Events has secured two more pieces to the auction puzzle.  First, Montway Transport has been named the official transportation partner of Carlisle Events and Carlisle Auctions in 2014.  Montway is Illinois- based and is the perfect option for an enthusiast who is looking to move a car into or out of the auction area.  Second, and even more important, Carlisle Events has hired Tony Cline to be the Director of Auction Operations.  Tony will oversee a full-time staff of five, including Denny Baish, Carlisle's long-time Auction Manager.  Additional part-time staff will assist the process too, both in the office and onsite during events.

"The excitement of an auction backed by Carlisle Auctions is real," said Bill Miller, co-owner of Carlisle Events.  "When we made the decision in 2013 to bring back the Carlisle Auctions brand, we knew that we wanted to do things that would revolutionize the hobby.  With our FREE UNLESS SOLD policy, SPOTLIGHT cars and simplified registration process, we feel that the experience offered will be unforgettable for all who take part."
