Neil Brown Jr to Guest on The Jimmy Star Show Wednesday January 22, 2014

A native of the South East, actor Neil Brown, Jr specialized in edgy, juvenile and twenty-something roles on television and films throughout the new millennium . He made his debut as a troubled pre-teen on martial arts TV show, WMAC Masters before graduating to recurring stints on primetime series; most notably on "Sheena" (Colombia-Tristar,2000) and the short lived "South Beach" on UPN. Features eventually came calling, starting with a supporting role along side a young Colin Farrell in the Joel Schumacher film, "Tigerland". After  landing a powerful role as "Guillermo", the caring leader of the Vatos on the critically acclaimed AMC hit, "The Walking Dead",  he graduated from smaller roles working with Denzel Washington in "Out Of Time", and the late Bernie Mac in "Mr.3000"; to larger supporting roles in Summit's "Never Back Down", Universal's "Fast and Furious" and the block buster, "Battle:Los Angeles ". More recently "NBJ", as he is affectionately  known by cast mates and friends had the good fortune to work with traditional favorites Beau Bridges and Kris Kristofferson in the Independent film "San Patricios" playing a soldier suffering from PTSD. The year 2014 has started off with a bang, with strong leading role performances in horror film "Bayou Tales" with Roger Bart and "Rivers 9" with Jamie Kennedy, both to be released  later this year. These films along with the occasional return to television as in his recurring on USA's "Suits" has granted Neil the opportunity to expand his art through a new youtube series, "Bathroom Warrior Husband Diaries", a show where he is a writer, actor, producer, director. The show is a form of a Mocumentary poking fun at his life, the unique experiences of being a married father of two by 19 and a "working actor", who's  life can be no more glamorous than  a janitor's.
