Aptus International enhances ICT offerings with acquisition of Navagate Asia Pacific

Expanded offerings to include ICT resourcing and Navagate Agility CRM software

SYDNEY - Jan. 14, 2014 - PRLog -- Australia-based global ICT company Aptus International Services today announced its acquisition of Sydney-based ICT resourcing firm Navagate Asia Pacific.

The acquisition will see Navagate’s operations being incorporated into Aptus’s existing stable of ICT services, which include cloud, security, identity and access management (IAM) and mobility consulting and solutions.

“We are very pleased to have Navagate on board – its well-established ICT resourcing division and best-of-breed custom-built CRM software solutions are an ideal strategic complement to our current services,” says Aptus Group CEO Chris Spies. “The dovetailing of the expertise and experience of both companies will deepen the reach and layers of holistic, value-added ICT solutions we are able to offer our clients.”

In addition to Navagate’s services structure and strategic solutions, Aptus’s already expansive talent pool will benefit from the addition to its board of two of Navagate’s top executives.

Francois Bruyns, co-founder and director of Navagate and a commercial lawyer qualified in three jurisdictions - Australia, England and South Africa, with an equally impressive track record in investing and entrepreneurship, will head up Aptus’s legal and resourcing division.

Tyrone Helm, senior advisor at Navagate, brings to the Aptus table his solid experience in sales, operations and organisational management. Having led a number of startup information technology companies to various exit strategies and also having held executive positions in larger established organisations, Helm will assume the leadership position of Aptus Australia.

Navagate’s core business of specialist ICT resourcing and rich database of carefully sourced prime multidisciplinary ICT candidates has seen it build an impressive client portfolio, including the likes of big Australian names such as KPMG, Rabobank, Tyro Payments and Altech.

The company’s exclusive rights to market and sell the Navagate Agility CRM software solution throughout Australia and New Zealand has delivered its clients the benefits of innovative, customised and cost-effective CRM solutions rivalling best-in-class solutions currently offered by the larger multinationals dominating the CRM space. Navagate’s software is designed to simplify and shorten the selling lifecycle by the delivery of a consolidated knowledge management and point-of-sale platform, from front-end analysis through to strategy and full implementation.

“Our in-depth understanding of vertical markets and our ethos of taking the time to really get to know and understand our clients business and resourcing requirements is a winning combination,” says Helm. “With both Navagate and Aptus sharing the same playing field and professional ethos of being partners, rather than suppliers, to our clients, joining forces to meet rapidly evolving market needs and extend our shared global reach is an exciting prospect for all of us going forward.”

Aptus has seen steady growth over the last few years, with its operations now encompassing offices in Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne and Perth. Corporate, education, finance and government clients across Australia benefit from Aptus’s vast range of strategic cloud, security, identity and access management (IAM) and enterprise mobility solutions designed to keep their businesses agile, sustainable and profitable into the future.
