ConcertFix Acquires Popular Tour Announcement Blog 'Whos-on-Tour'

NORTH MIAMI BEACH, Fla. - Jan. 13, 2014 - PRLog -- ConcertFix, not long after announcing its launch, has now announced its acquisition of popular tour announcement blog whos-on-tour.org. ConcertFix will be adding a new tour announcements division to the site that will be run by the whos-on-tour.org research and writing team.

VP of Marketing at ConcertFix, Julian Gonzalez, said “its was the perfect move for us to make. One of our goals at ConcertFix it to provide concert fans a platform where they can get every type of concert information they needed. Whos on Tour filled the tour announcement piece perfectly.”

ConcertFix has hoped to announce the acquisition of whos on tour prior to their announcement of the launch. Due to delays in the acquisition process, ConcertFix was not able to announce the acquisition until several days later. The delay was caused by another potential buyer of whos-on-tour.org. It ultimately came down to a bidding war that ConcertFix won. The other potential buyer has still not been verified but it is rumored to have been the ticket search engine SeatGeek, hoping to finally have a successful blog to attach to its rapidly growing ticket search engine platform. Terms of the whos-on-tour.org aquisition are not being disclosed.

During the next few months All traffic from whos-on-tour.org will be redirected to concertfix.com/tour-announcements however all social media accounts for whos on tour will remain active. All concert and tour announcement tweets, shares, pins, etc. will be syndicated from the concertfix media accounts.
